Who we are
This website is run by Sean Birchall, trading as Receptwell, Shannon, Co. Clare, Ireland ("we", "us"). For anything about your personal data, contact Sean at sean@receptwell.com or 089 600 3087.
This website
- There are no contact forms, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on the Ireland & Europe pages of this site, or anywhere else on receptwell.com. See our cookie policy.
- If you choose a region, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so the site remembers it. It isn't sent to us.
- Fonts are served from this website, so no data is sent to a font provider.
- The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and secure the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is protected against misuse. The request logs for this site are kept for one hour and then deleted; Vercel may keep limited technical data for longer for security and abuse prevention, as described in its own privacy policy. Vercel is a US company; it processes this data under its own data processing terms, which rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- The United States pages of this site include live AI voice demos. Nothing from the demo provider loads unless you choose to start a demo.
When you contact us
If you phone or email, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to share. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss the services you're interested in. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Phone calls to 089 600 3087 are answered by Sean in person. They are not recorded and are not answered by AI.
Email is handled through Google Workspace. Google may process email data in the United States; it does so under its Cloud Data Processing Addendum, which relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Clients: contracts, invoices and payment records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as Irish tax law requires. Other correspondence is deleted within 12 months of the work ending.
- Website request logs: one hour, as set out above.
We never sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
Our clients' callers
When we provide an AI receptionist or speed-to-lead agent to a business, we process the data of that business's callers and leads on its behalf, under a written data processing agreement. The business is the controller of that data, and its own privacy notice explains how the data is used.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how it's used, or to receive a copy of it. Contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
